Ati X1600 Windows 7 64 Bit Driver
The driver that I am currently using is version 8.593 released in February 2010.Is there a newer release of this driver? Why can't we download a driver like this from Acer Website? The copy of 7 Ultimate I have on my Mac is an educational copy (think it cost me $27 or thereabout) and the 32/64 were def separate discs when I got I've spent several hours Googling all kinds of ideas, but nothing has worked. Amd Auto Detect No, the drivers from ATI do not work with the modder, I suggest the drivers at http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=ati+x1600 the site does not say whether drivers are 32 or 64 bit, my experience says The latest legacy driver 9.11 will work with the x1600 fine.
I don't know if it changed/fixed anything but it installed fine for me.

In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus. ATI Radeon X1600 Series - Windows 7 (64-bit) Never look for drivers again.
card, not even from Windows update (I don´t know why this driver didn't appear any longer on the list). But aside from this one issue, it's been working well, and I'd like to get it working.
